HOW AND WHERE WE DO BUSINESS
CEI provides full service roofing construction services and
repair and maintenance services in the United States through
two divisions: CEI Michigan, LLC located in southeastern Michigan,
and CEI Florida, LLC located in central Florida. Our
third division, CEI Group International, LLC specializes in
providing our same professional roofing services abroad.
CEI has the ability to professionally and safely install, maintain
and repair all types of roofing systems, including but not
limited to: single-ply, modified bitumen, slate and tile, shingles,
built-up roofing and architectural metal roofing. A list of
some of the roofing systems that CEI is authorized to install
can be found under Construction Services.
CEI and our team of roofing professionals excel at installing
quality roofing systems on complex projects. Review a few of

A large part of CEI's reliability is its ability to safely
install roofing systems. CEI is concerned about safety before
any of our staff even steps onto the roof. CEI's professional
roofers and sheet metal men are thoroughly trained in and follow
the safety guidelines as established by OSHA and other national
safety and roofing organizations, including the NRCA. Our safety
program includes pre-job planning, daily monitoring by field
management, weekly safety talks and quarterly safety meetings,
which ensure that safety is constantly being reviewed.

Our management team is the finest in the industry and together
has more than 120 years of experience in providing quality roofing
construction and repair services in the United States and abroad.
George J. Cook - President and founder of CEI. As President
George oversees all aspects of the CEI companies with some emphasis
on the management of CEI's Michigan based company. Since
George founded CEI in 1968 he has been a recognized leader in
the roofing industry. George holds a bachelors degree in sales
and marketing from Michigan State University, Lansing, Michigan.
John C. Cook – Executive Vice President and founder
of CEI. John currently advises on the management and operations
of the CEI office in Orlando, FL and CEI's international
work. After leaving the U.S. Army in 1973 John joined CEI and
was involved in all aspects of the development and management
of the company. John graduated from Michigan State University,
Lansing, MI in 1968, with a bachelors degree in economics and
business administration and as a 2nd Lt. in the U.S. Army.
Eric C. Cook - Vice President of Operations. Eric focuses
his time and talents on the roofing operations side of the CEI
companies, but he is also involved in estimating and project
management. Eric joined CEI after earning a bachelors degree
in business administration from Northwood University, Midland,
Michigan in 1994. During Eric's 12 years with CEI, he has
also held the titles of estimator, project manager and operations
manager.
G. Robert Cook – Vice President of Sales and Estimating.
Rob's main focus is on generating sales and managing estimating
for the CEI companies, but he is also involved in project management.
Rob joined CEI after earning a bachelors degree in earth science
from Central Michigan University, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan in
1997. In his 10 years with CEI, Rob has also held the title
of estimator, senior estimator and project manager.
Kristine C. Lindsey – Vice President and General Counsel.
Kristine rejoined CEI in 2006 after spending 7 years in the
legal department of a large national roofing company where she
held the titles of Associate General Counsel and General Counsel,
and was responsible for the handling of all legal issues arising
in that company's 38 operating subsidiaries. At CEI she
is responsible for all legal issues for the companies and focuses
her time on other company development and management issues.
Kristine earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Miami University,
Oxford, OH in 1989 and a J.D. from Wayne State University Law
School in 1993 and she is a member of the State Bar in both
Michigan and Colorado.
Frederick "Pete" Petersen - General Manger.
Pete is responsible for and oversees all aspects of the management
of CEI's Orlando, FL based company. Pete has been in the
roofing industry for 30 years and has focused his talents mainly
in the areas of estimating and project management, but over
the years he has been involved with all aspects of the business.
Pete has spent the most of his long career with CEI in various
key management positions and currently is the General Manager
for CEI Florida, LLC.
